Never Leave, Nor Forsake thee

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

We have two choices for our lives. We can either live by faith or by sight. We can trust in God’s abiding presence and power or we can depend upon our own resources. But wealth — like health, status, and reputation — is subject to decay and to disappear. Only one Source is always there for us and we know we can depend upon him, because he has been there for so many who have come before us. Never is forever and this one “never” I cherish: “Never will I leave thee nor forsake you!”

Thank you for reminding me today of who my source of wisdom, strength, direction and provision is. That He will never forsake me even when I’m sick or tired is a great comfort. At home, on the mend and hoping to be back soon to RU I thank God for great instruction like the weekly note from Dr Kingsbury and this short blog from you.

it is a blessing to see Christians bind together and move forward for the cause of Christ – In His Strength.

That is one of my favorite verses…I go to that verse when I need to know that God is still there to help in a time of trouble.
