The word “Genesis” means new beginnings. We find a lot of “firsts” in the book of Genesis. In today’s blog, (a blog by way of video) we will see God’s presence, power, and plan revealed to us. It is amazing to me that when you see His presence, His power and His plan can be seen much more clearly! The presence of the Lord in our lives is one of the single most important events in our lives. We cannot live without the presence of the Lord. The Bible says in Psalm 140:13, “Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence”. The presence of the Lord is so important, and yet few believers know what the presence of God really means….face to face with Him! You are NEVER alone! God is with you no matter where life may take you.
Think of the day of your salvation. I know that the day of my salvation was a fresh awareness of His presence in my soul! There have been scores of other experiences such as: when God healed you, when He revealed His will, or when revival touched your life. It is real; it is powerful. It is always there, but we do not recognize it at some times like we do others.
May the Vlog and outline today be a continued blessing to you.

1. Presence of God:
“In the beginning God”…this phrase isone that should resound in your heart this morning. It all started with God and God will still be God when we are long removed from this earth. To realize His presence and His power and His plan is the devotion this morning. Realizing I am part of His plan is a wonderful thought to meditate on today.
2. Power of God:
The power of God is certainly demonstrated in creation. The power of God’s Word is especially demonstrated in creation by the fact that God simply spoke the universe into existence. “God said” is found 10 times in this chapter regarding creation. He wanted us to know He spoke the World into existence. The power of His Word is still available today to you.
3. Plan of God:
God’s wisdom is demonstrated in the orderly plan of God in creation. Any other order of creation would have been a disaster.
